Important Dates
Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 is an Act that was enacted by the Indian Government to regulate the inflow and outflow of foreign funding to Voluntary Organisations. Being an Internal Security instrument, this Act is under the Ministry of Home Affairs of Government of India.

Most of the Voluntary Organisations receiving funds from foreign sources / donors are governed by this Act. Yet, there are many areas / queries relating to the various provisions of this law which requires better undetsto be well understood by the Voluntary Organisations.
